Frequently Asked Questions: Adding a Name to Your Billing Account
Estimated Reading Time: 1 MinutesYour billing account is registered under the name provided during sign-up or when placing an order. If you wish to add another person to your account or have their name appear on your bill, it is important to understand the difference between adding an authorised user and transferring account ownership.
The following FAQs explain your available options and the limitations of billing arrangements.
Can I add another person’s name to my billing account?
No. Your billing account is registered under the name provided during sign-up or when placing an order. Adding another person’s name to the bill is not supported.
Can I add another person to my account?
Yes. You may add an authorised user who can make enquiries or perform certain account-related transactions on your behalf.
Does adding an authorised user make them responsible for the bill?
No. Adding an authorised user does not change account ownership or billing responsibility. The registered account holder remains responsible for the service charges.
Can an authorised user become a co-owner of the account?
No. Authorised user access is separate from account ownership. It does not make the authorised user a co-owner or allow their name to be added to the bill.
What if I want to transfer the account to another person?
If you want another person to become the registered account holder, you may request a change of ownership, subject to the applicable requirements. For more information, see our change of ownership FAQs.
Can two names appear on the same bill?
No. The bill can only be issued under the registered account holder’s name. Adding an authorised user does not change this arrangement. If you want another person to become the account holder, you may request a transfer of ownership instead.
