How to Activate and Set Up eSIM
Estimated Reading Time: 3 MinutesInstalling an eSIM is quick and convenient, but a few checks before you begin can help ensure a smooth activation. Follow the steps below to get your eSIM up and running.
Before You Begin
Before installing your eSIM, make sure you have completed the following:
- Check your internet connection. Connect your device to a stable Wi-Fi network or make sure you have a reliable internet connection. An internet connection is required to download and activate your eSIM.
- Confirm your device is eSIM-compatible. Check that your smartphone or tablet supports eSIM functionality. To quickly check if your mobile phone is eSIM compatible, dial *#06# on your keypad and press call. If an EID number (a 32-digit serial code) appears on your screen, your device has the built-in hardware to support an eSIM.
- Update your device software. Make sure your iPhone or Android device is running the latest available software version.
- Complete your mobile service activation. Make sure you have already completed the activation for your mobile service and have received your eSIM activation details, such as a QR code or activation information.
Activating Your Mobile Number
After you receive an email or SMS confirming that your eSIM is ready for activation, proceed to activate your service on our website.
Once you receive the QR code via email, proceed with installing the eSIM on your device.
Note: If you are transferring a number, please wait until your current SIM no longer registers on the network before scanning and installing your eSIM.
