How to Change the Modem Login Password on a Nokia FastMile 5G Modem

1. Connect your device to the modem. You can use Wi-Fi or one of the 3 LAN ports on the bottom of your modem.

2. Open a web browser and enter https://192.168.1.254 into the address bar.

3. Log in using the default username and the unique default password found on your modem’s barcode sticker.

4. Access the "Maintenance" section from the modem’s menu.

5. On the "Password" page, do the following:

• Enter your current password in the "Original Password" field.
• Set a new password: Type your new password into both the "New Password" and "Re-enter Password" fields. Ensure the passwords match.
• Set a Prompt Message (Optional): You can configure a custom message that will be displayed on the login screen. This message can serve as a hint, such as a question only you would know the answer to. However, make sure it doesn’t reveal enough information for someone to guess your password.

6. Click "Save" to apply your new settings.

From now on, you’ll need to use your newly created password whenever you log in at http://192.168.1.254. It’s recommended that you securely note down your new password for future reference.
