How Do You Connect Your Vodafone Wi-Fi Hub 2.0?
Depending on your nbn connection type, connect to one of the following:
If there is no NBN Connection Box installed, connect the DSL port on the back of your modem to your phone wall socket using a telephone cable.
If there is an NBN Connection Box installed, connect the NBN Connection Box to the WAN port on the back of your modem using an ethernet cable.
Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC)
Fibre to the Premises (FTTP)
Fibre to the Curb (FTTC)
To get connected via your Vodafone Wi-Fi Hub 2.0 modem, you'll need to log into your modem gateway.
Note: This can be done on most mobile devices, but we recommend doing these steps with your PC if you have one.
How Do You Log in To Your Vodafone Wi-Fi Hub 2.0 Modem?
To access the modem interface, please make sure your device is connected to your modem through a wired or wireless connection.
You can access the dashboard by typing 192.168.1.1 into your browser.
You can also find your login details on the device label on the back of your Wi-Fi Hub 2.0.
How Do You Configure Your Vodafone Wi-Fi Hub 2.0 Modem?
Once logged in, look for Advanced Set up > WAN Service.
Delete any other existing profile and click on Add. Otherwise, click Edit if there's only 1 active profile.
On the Internet Service Provider list, select Others. Otherwise, you can leave it as it is.
In the WAN Interfaces list, select
VDSL for FTTN/B service
Ethernet for HFC, FTTP, FTTC and Fixed Wireless service
In the WAN Type list, select PPP over Ethernet
Enter your nbn username and password provided to you via email when the order was completed. Hit Apply/Save to apply the new settings.
Wait 3-5 minutes for the modem to go online, then test the service. Reboot modem if needed.
