To get connected via your ASUS modem, you'll need to log into your modem gateway. Note: This can be done on most mobile devices, but we recommend doing these steps with your PC if you have one.

Logging into your modem

With your device connected through wired or wireless to your modem, launch a web browser and enter http://router.asus.com in the address bar, then press [Enter].

If the IP address does not work or if it has been changed, check your router's IP address. For instructions, click here.

Enter admin for both the username and password and click Login. If you have changed the login credentials, please enter the current username and password for your modem interface.

Note: The auto-detection of your ISP connection type takes place when you reset your modem or configure it for the first time. If it fails, click Manual Setting and manually configure your connection settings.

You will be routed to the Web GUI to configure various settings of your ASUS Wireless Router. To connect your wireless router to the SpinTel network, see steps below:

1. Under Advanced Settings, go to WAN > Internet Connection tab

2. Under Basic Config, change WAN Connection Type to PPPoE.

Enter your NBN username and password provided to you via email.

3. Hit Apply to update the settings.

Wait 3-5 minutes for the modem to go online, then test the service.
