To get connected via your D-LINK modem, you'll need to log into your modem gateway.

Note: This can be done on most mobile devices, but we recommend doing these steps with your PC if you have one.

Logging into your modem

To access the modem gateway, enter http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar of a web browser. If the IP address does not work or if it has been changed, check your router's IP address. For instructions, click here.

Log in with the password you set for your router, otherwise, check on the label at the back of your modem for the default password.

Once logged in, the Setup Wizard shows up, click Next to continue.

1. Select the WAN access type base on your service

ADSL if you are connecting through ADSL
VDSL - for FTTN or FTTB service
ETHERNET - for FTTC, FTTP, FW or HFC service

  • Select your country

  • Look for SpinTel on the ISP list, otherwise, select Not Listed and click Next.

2. Select PPPoE for the connection type.

If the router cannot determine your connection type, a list of connection types to choose from will be displayed. Select PPPoE and hit Next.

3. Enter the username and password provided to you via email

Hit Next to continue.

4. Personalise your WiFi credentials

Create a Wi-Fi SSID and password for both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless
networks.

5. Update your router password

In order to secure the router, please enter a new password. You will be prompted for this password every time you want to use the router’s web configuration utility.

Hit Next to continue.

Finally, you will be routed to the Summary page. Hit Next and the wizard will close and your settings will be saved.

Wait 3-5 minutes for the modem to go online, then test the service.
