To get connected via your D-LINK modem, you'll need to log into your modem gateway.
Note: This can be done on most mobile devices, but we recommend doing these steps with your PC if you have one.
Logging into your modem
To access modem gateway, enter http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar of a web browser. If the IP address does not work or if it has been changed, check your router's IP address. For instructions, click here.
1. Enter admin for both the username and password and click Login. If you have changed the login credentials, please enter the current username and password for your modem interface.
2. Once logged in, click Setup Wizard
3. There are 7 steps to configure the device. Click Next to continue.
Follow the prompts:
Set Your Password - The default password of admin account is "admin", in order to secure your network, you may modify the password.
Select Your Time Zone
Setup Internet Connection
A. Select the internet connection type:
VDSL - for FTTN/B service
Ethernet WAN - for FTTP, HFC, FTTC or Fixed Wireless service
B. Select your country and ISP. Look for SpinTel on the ISP List, otherwise choose Other if it is not on the list. Protocol should be set to PPPoE.
C. Enter the username and password provided to you via email when the order was completed.
Personalise your WiFi credentials and click on Next until it reaches the Summary page.
Wait 3-5 minutes for the modem to go online, then test the service. Reboot modem if needed.
