To get connected via your TP-Link Archer VR500V modem, you'll need to log into your modem gateway.
Note: This can be done on most mobile devices, but we recommend doing these steps with your PC if you have one.
Logging into your modem
To access modem gateway, enter http://tplinkmodem.net or http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar of a web browser. If the IP address does not work or if it has been changed, check your router's IP address. For instructions, click here.
Log in with the account you set for the modem router, otherwise enter your password if this is your first time logging in or if you have reset your modem.
Setting up VDSL for FTTN/B service
Go to Basic > Internet page.
Look for SpinTel on the ISP List, otherwise, choose Other if it is not listed.
Select VDSL for the modulation type.
Select PPPoE for the connection type then enter the username and password provided to you via email when your order was completed.
Click Save to apply the new settings.
Setting up Ethernet connection for HFC, FTTP, FTTC and Fixed Wireless service
Go to Advanced from the top menu
Select Network and ETH Internet from the left hand menu and delete the existing connection by clicking the Trash icon
Once you have deleted the existing interface you can then Add a new one
3. Select PPPoE for the connection type then enter the username and password provided to you via email when your order was completed. Scroll down and save.
Wait 3-5 minutes for the modem to go online, then test the service. Reboot modem if needed.
