Steps on How To Set Up Your Huawei B818 or B628 Modem

  1. The Huawei B818 uses a Micro SIM card, while the B628 uses a Nano SIM card. In both cases, it should come pre-inserted. When troubleshooting, make sure to have the modem turned off when inserting/removing the SIM card, as this may affect performance or damage the SIM card.
