When it comes to developing new properties, there are additional charges to consider beyond the standard fees. This article will explain and compare the two relevant charges: Developer Contributions Charge (DCC) and New Development Charge (NDC).

Developer Contributions Charge (DCC)

DCC is a charge that applies to developers and builders for single and multi-dwelling units. The charge is determined on application and is capped at $600 inc. GST per premises for Single Dwelling Units and $400 inc. GST per premises for Multi Dwelling Units. It is important to note that developers may pass on this charge to the end user.

New Development Charge (NDC)

NDC is a charge that applies to locations classified as new developments by nbn™. A new home or a premise connecting to nbn for the first time may be considered as new development, and a $300 fee will be charged. SpinTel will inform you prior to completing your order or install appointment and will require your authorization before proceeding.
